Tabletop unit for the analysis of the friction between two materials. This device allows to run long wear test between two materials in contact with each other.

 

The results provided by the tribometer are usefull data to select the right materials or to optimise protective coatings.

One sample is fixed on a swiveling arm, the other material is placed on the surface of an exchangeable cylinder. Many parameters can be adjusted.
